This policy explains what information Driftway collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers both the Driftway application and this website.

Driftway ("Driftway," "we," "us"), operated by Creator Consulting LLC, provides relationship intelligence software for dealmakers at driftway.io. For questions about this policy or your information, contact us at security@driftway.io.
When you use Driftway or visit this website, we collect standard technical information such as browser type, device information, and pages visited. This website runs no analytics or marketing trackers today. The only cookie it sets is the one that remembers your cookie choice; the full list is in our Cookie Policy. If we add optional trackers later, our consent banner will ask before anything runs, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Browsers can also send a "Do Not Track" signal, but there is no shared standard for it, so we do not respond to DNT specifically. You can change your cookie choice anytime through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
One optional feature works differently: if you turn on the weather widget in the app, your device requests local weather directly from Open-Meteo using your location. That request goes straight from your browser to Open-Meteo, and we never receive or store your location.
We may supplement contact records in a customer's workspace with information from publicly available sources, such as company websites, to keep records accurate and useful.
Like other relationship management products, Driftway stores contact information that our customers upload about people in their own networks. Those records belong to the customer who added them and are visible only within that customer's account. We process them solely to provide the service to that customer: we do not use them for advertising, sell them, share them with other customers, or use them to train AI models.
If you are not a Driftway user and believe a Driftway customer has stored your contact information, you can contact us at security@driftway.io. We will tell you whether information about you is held in the service, and we will honor requests to correct or remove it, working with the account holder where appropriate.
We do not sell personal information.
We share information only with the service providers that run Driftway on our behalf, such as our hosting, database, email, and AI providers. Each is listed, with what it does and the data it touches, on our subprocessors page. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. This applies whether or not you have a Driftway account. Requests are handled directly by our team: write to security@driftway.io and we will respond promptly. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, these rights may be backed by laws such as the GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
Driftway is operated from the United States, and the providers we use process data primarily in the United States. If you use Driftway from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, every account is isolated at the database level, and data is backed up daily. Our security page describes our practices in more detail.
Driftway is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
